In Western culture, we've been taught that dragons are fierce, gold-hoarding beasts who steal maidens. But a few months ago, during a conversation with a coach, she came back with this question: What if dragons aren’t hoarders, but guardians?

What if they are protectors of people and guardians of abundance? How had I never seen it this way before?
